	than adequately describes how to setup this door game.

	Refer to history.txt for the story on this GuTTeRBoWL revision process.
	===================================================================
	Whats new and different?

	1. Now runs on PII computers
	2. The PLAYER.DAT structure has changed and is NOT compatible with the old version.
	3. Numerous bug fixes
	4. A few file names have changed.
	5. Can now try an alternate delay routine to fine tune the game for your system. See below for details.
	6. Can now control the delay of commentary and other pop up text. See below for details.
	7. You can get a free registration. See below for details.

	 Upgrade Info:

	1. Just drop in the GUTBOWL.EXE and GUTCFG.EXE.
	2. Delete the PLAYER.DAT if it exists.
	3. If using the BALL-SPE.EED file, rename it to BALLSPD.CTL
	    * only the name has changed *
	4. Done!

	 New stuff you can try:

	1. The first time GuTTeRBoWL is ran it will create a file called MSGDELAY.CTL. This file is not really
 	     required. This file contains the defaults, so if you delete it, you won't see any change. If you delete it,
	     I think it will get recreated. The MSGDELAY.CTL file will allow you to customize the delay speed of items
 	     that display, pause and then continue. Most noticeable will be the in game comments if you have them
	     turned on. This also affect several other lines of text. This does not affect the curve bar or ball speed.
	     To use the file is simple and it can be modified with any text editor.

		Explanation follows:

		{Begin File}
		 2000

		Default without this file is 2000.
		Low number - 0 = really fast, so fast you won't see it!!!
		High number - 65000 = really slow
		{End File}

	Only the first line is read.

	2. To try the alternate delay method, create file called USENEW.DEL and place it in the game directory.

	3. F Keys info that will help figure out if the BALLSPD.CTL, USENEW.DEL and which control file is being used:

	F3 shows if the BALLSPD.CTL was used or not.
	F4 shows which GUTTERx.CTL was used when the game loaded.
	F5 shows if you are using the original or new delay processes.

	Hint/Tips

	1. If you are running GuTTeRBoWL in a multi-tasking environment such as Win9x, it is recommended that
	    you DO NOT run the game in windowed mode due to the ANSI animation and timings. I can not guarantee consistent operation running windowed. For consistent operation you will need to run GuTTeRBoWL
	    (therefore perhaps your BBS) in full screen mode either in foreground or background. If you are running your
	     BBS via DOS, then you won't have any problem.

	2. Unless you want different nodes on your BBS to have different options, you can run multiple nodes with just
	    ONE gutter.ctl file. You do NOT need a CTL file for every node.

	Registration Info:

	Just send in the registration form from the Gutterbowl archive and you will receive a FREE keyfile. Why use a CRACK or HACK that could cause serious damage to your system. Keyfiles are send via e-mail ONLY. Keyfiles are NOT to be distributed with the v1.01 archive. Incomplete registration form will NOT get a keyfile. Please add
	"FREE KEY" to the subject line in the e-mail.
