                           THE HISTORY OF WORLDMGR
 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

 Version 1.07, September 7, 1998
 -------------------------------

 - Fixed a bug relating to cursor arrows not disappearing when the cursor
moved over a black-on-black screen block.

 - Fixed a bug where Worldmgr would not function if more than 6 worlds were
 installed.

 Version 1.06, June 19, 1998
 ---------------------------

Fixed bugs relating to Items editing, in particular creating items for a
 new world.

 Version 1.05, June 14, 1998
 ---------------------------

When creating a new map screen, Specials weren't initialised to 0 (fixed).

Added a new feature. When copying and pasting blocks, you can flip them
with one of the following keys:

 (X) Flip block horizontally
 (V) Flip block horizontally, also flipping all ascii characters to their
     mirror image (eg. becomes ).

 (Y) Flip block vertically
 (W) Flip block vertically, also flipping all ascii characters to their
     mirror image (eg. becomes ).

 Version 1.04, June 5, 1998
 --------------------------

I forgot to include SPECIALS.DOC in the last version.

Bug fix: people who like to type in lower case (hi abyss) couldn't just
hit ENTER on an FLE hotspot to load the text editor.

For those who don't know, if you hit ENTER over a hotspot which executes an
FLE, eg. FLE *3HOME#ENTER, Worldmgr loads HOME.FLS in your designated text
editor, then on returning to Worldmgr, hit ALT-C to compile it to an FLE.

You must configure the directories in Worldmgr first. When you load
 Worldmgr, select "Configure Worldmgr".

 Version 1.03, April 29, 1998
 ----------------------------

You get a status bar when saving certain map screens.

WORLDMGR.DOC is now clearer. I've added a list of all FLEs and labels which
Sage is hard-coded to call so you can distinguish between which FLEs in a
world are just used by the world and which are called by Sage.

This version introduces "Special" spots, a feature which has been planned
since about Alpha 3. Please read SPECIALS.DOC (in this archive) for info.

Too many bug fixes and cosmetic changes to list. Lots of "Items" fixes.

 Version 1.02, April 7, 1998
 ---------------------------

Configuring the text editor and path to FLC.EXE would mix the two up (fixed).

 Version 1.01, April 6, 1998
 ---------------------------

Note: This version works with worlds designed for Sage Beta 2. If you have
Sage Beta 1, download the latest copy of Sage at our website (URL in
WORLDMGR.DOC). The Seven Sages and L2toSage have also been updated to this
 new world format.

The WORLD.DAT file has had a major reconstruction. It's now split over two
files, SWORLD.DAT (which holds the world information, template screen and
map indexes) and SMAP.DAT (which holds the map screens). This makes Worldmgr
more secure, and surprisingly faster even though there are now two files to
 work with.

Each map screen now has it's own "chance" of running a random FLE. You can
determine the chance of this event happening, and the name of the FLE which
is run (you can't determine the path of the random FLE, it must be in the
path of the currently loaded world). If the FLE you enter doesn't exist,
Sage reports no errors (see FLC's NFLE command).

Boogie Man said that in Aerial View, the "invisible" screens were hard to
see on his monitor, so I've changed the color.

Minor bugs fixed. If you copy and pasted more than about forty-five full
screens Worldmgr would exit with a heap overflow error (fixed).
