The FTN Network For The BBS Scene
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
InterBBS via QWK setup guide - 01/12/09

Setting up InterBBS games via a QWK style network can be tricky but 100%
possible. All InterBBS gaming technology was built around FTN (Fidonet Type
Networking) so we have to do some manual scripting to get the game packets to
move into the right directories. Hopefully this guide will help ease the
confusion surrounding proper setup.

1. First we will need to create a few directories inside your qnet directory
(sbbs/data/qnet). Create two new directories in qnet, one called
    diskshop.in and diskshop.out.

2. diskshop.in will essentially serve as the inbound directory for all of
your InterBBS games. When you go through the setup of each game and it
asks you for the location of your inbound directory use diskshop.in

3. diskshop.out is the directory that will send your game packets back to the
main league 77 hub. This directory shouldn't be used as the outbound
directory for each of the games. You should copy all of the game packets
from the various outbound game dirs into this one. For example:

InterLord stores all of the outbound packets destined for the league 77
hub in lord/intrlord/outbound. You need to create a bat (or bash for
you linux users) file that will move everything from the
lord/intrlord/outbound dir to the sbbs/data/qnet/diskshop.out dir

Once you have created this batch file you should run it every 6 hours.
There really is no need to run it more often as the main gaming hub for
league 77 only process's packets every 6 hours.

4. Every InterBBS game will also ask you for the location of a netmail
directory. Since we aren't using FTN technology the location of this is
irrelivant. You should create a temp directory somewhere on your computer
and use that as your netmail directory. You should then add a command to
delete everything in the directory in the batch file that we created
    above.

If you have any questions or problems, please visit telnet://bbs.diskshop.ca
or telnet://hysteriabbs.com and post a question in the League 77 echo in
Scinet.
