Turbo Watson is a toolkit for Turbo Pascal programmers who want
to create voice response applications for the Watson Speech
Board. Because it works at a higher level than the VAR
Interface that's often sold with the PC-compatible speech
board, the company says Turbo Watson requires less procedures
and fewer lines of code. You don't have to worry about file
structures, interrupt control, and other low level controls,
the company reports.

Turbo Watson programs let you manage speech files such as a
prompt recorder and silence trimmer, for deleting silences at
the beginning and end of a speech file. An example of a
complete answering machine program is provided. Also included
is the source code, in case you need to recompile the toolkit
for a compiler not supported by Turbo Watson.

Turbo Watson supports Turbo Pascal 4.0 and higher and runs on
the IBM PC with 512K bytes of RAM.

Price: $99 Canadian.
