Monolithic Systems introduced the MicroFrame 386M, a non-cached
16- to 25-MHz motherboard last week at Comdex. The board has
eight expansion slots (for standard 8- or 16-bit cards) on a
baby-AT form factor. It addresses up to 16 megabytes of 32-bit
zero wait state memory. The board can also accommodate an Intel
or Weitek comprocessor.

Monolithic reports that by using low-profile 1-megabyte SIP
memory modules, you can have up to 8 megabytes of addressable
memory on the motherboard.

Other features include user-definable drive types, three
user-programmable bus speeds, and individually programmable wait
states on the 8- and 16-bit buses.

Price: (all without RAM) 16-MHz, $1133; 20-MHz, $1284; 25-MHz,
$1427.
