UltraPaint lets you do black and white and color painting,
grey-scale image processing, and object drawing in one package.
 
The program supports 256 colors, blended fills, a multi-color
airbrush, masking, and other special effects. The program's
grey-scale capabilities include multiple image combination,
contrast and brightness control, sharpen and blur, and halftone
printing.
 
UltraPaint supports Bezier curves, scaling, 600-dpi precision,
eight layers, and auto-tracing of bitmap images.
 
You can use only the black and white capabilities of UltraPaint
on a Mac Plus, and later migrate to a Mac II with color.
